Location
Nice spot. Usable +/- 3 hours of high water, check the tides on windguru. At low water its a bit a walk (10 minutes) to the water, however its great at this time due to there being a large waist deep sandy beach.
Wind Directions
Beach faces south.
Southerly winds are great expect the strength to be a little more than windguru predicts. Waves funnel into the bay causing about 1.5m waves when its windy.
Easterly winds are ok, maybe a little bit gusty. Flat water
Westerly winds are good. flat water
not sailed there in northely but should be ok. water will be flat though.
Getting there
From Helensburgh. follow coast road out going south for about 5 minutes look for right turn. Theres a couple of houses either side of the turn.
From the south. Drive through caidross. look for turning on left. you'll be going down a gentle hill. turn is just after a house.
