This is a great location when winds come out of the North (NE to NW). Nov to March are the best months, especially winter Dec to Feb, the summer months (May to Sept) are virtual dead with maybe one or two days of good wind. During the winter months winds can vary from 15 to 35 Knots.
There are no waves because of the reef surrounding Bermuda, the water is crystal clear and averaging 19 degrees Celsius in the winter months. In Long Bay there is a public beach with a grassy area with lots of room for rigging.
