Good for wind and kite surfing, mountain boarding and power kiting. Very deep sandy beach at low tide but small shingle beach at high tide. Best winds W, SW, S, SE- Westerlies can be gusty. Kites best avoid high tide due to small launch and land area and dangerous wooden groynes, and windsurfing is harder at high tide due to heavy shore-dump. Parking is free at Jury's Gap (continue driving E from Camber, opposite the caravan park) Warning: Watersports are NOT allowed to set up or launch West of Jury's Gap. The kite zone is heavily policed during the summer months. For full information on the beach use, dangerous areas and by laws, visit the website below, the centre is based on the beach at camber and always help kitesurfers and windsurfers- As well as offer kitesurfing lessons www.thekitesurfcentre.com.
