Best on a NE wind direction. Most often works in the winter (Dec-Mar) when a high pressure sets up the interior of British Columbia.
Almost dead flat conditions. Launch at the eastern boat ramp which faces the yacht club.
There is a lurking rock near the launch which is just to the right of the first marker. Likely only a problem at low tides, but watch out.
Somewhat offshore wind. If you break down far out, you will need someone to rescue you.
Often quite cold, bittery cold. But, usually sunny.
