Cold Bay is a remote Alaskan community with some serious kitesurfing potential. It borders Izembek National Park and has a runway, some road, a ferry dock and little else. Alaska Airlines is rumored to start flying here though i cant imagine why. The wind here blows and Izembek Lagoon on the Berring Sea side of the Peninsula has the potential for some great kiting. One can drive to this lagoon, though i do not know right now if Izembek will allow kiting in the refuge.
