Best winds are SW/W particularly in the summer, but good in any direction except NW/N/NE where high ground obstruct the wind.
It has good parking, rigging on a flat pebble area close to the parking and a short but steep walk to the water.
There is a strong current which is particularly strong at the east end of the beach which should be avoided. High tides can produce a large shorebreak.
