This spot is fantastic if you are interested in some open ocean wavesailing. Works great on anything with north in it. Park on the north side of the road near the lighthouse. There is a grassy rigging area right beside the lighthouse and a sand path down to the beach. You may want to wear booties as the bottom is rocky. There is a wave break about 1/4 of a kilometre out. Walk across the road to the fishing wharf for some great eats (scallop burger!) after your sailing session.
