Crescent Beach, Glen Cove, NY. A nice quiet spot on the north shore of Long Island. Good in all winds except anything with south in it. Very nice on NW and East winds. Be careful about submerged rocks near the shore. Take Crescent Beach Road all the way to the end and there is a parking lot and it is a public beach. Neighboring Webb institute is private but they have alot of sailors and windsurfers launch from their beach.
