Datchet Water Sailing Club is a game of two halves, in the winter its a convenient place to sail because it's close to London, and it gets good breeze, although vicious chop. In the summer it's rubbish apart from for beginners as Thames Water steal all the water, and then it's like trying to windsurf in a half empty teacup with the breeze not surprisingly going round in circles.
Day tickets are available. Good Local contingent if water and wind combine, 30 boards on a 'glam' day. Day sailing available Tue-Sun inclusive from 9am to dusk. Rescue cover during these hours.
