South easterly - bolt onshore, clean wind. Southerly - Cross onshore, clean wind - best direction. South westerly - Cross shore, can be gusty. Westerly - Cross offshore, unfortuneately tends to be very gusty in this direction.
Waves are very much dependant on wind over previous few days, best waves follow a spell of south easterly winds, southerly winds also produce some good waves. If the wind then swings to clean south westerly then there can some nice wavesailing conditions.
Friendly bunch of kitesurfers and windsurfers of varied ability. From very crap to very good - but all having fun and isn't that what it's all about.
For kitesurfing there is a Launch/Land zone put in place by the local council. this is located at the south end of the beach.
