Draycote Water Sailing Club has a large and active windsurfing membership. The lake is 650 acres with a 5 mile perimeter. It's as good a place as any to sail inland as it is a 'pumped' reservoir held in by a couple of dam walls so it sits up a bit. Works well in all winds except S, and even that's ok once you're 100m out. Club membership only (no day tickets since Autumn 2006). Open every day except Christmas Day. Full time safety boat cover.
