Eureka Reservoir is just West of Choteau, MT. I have only sailed there once. It was late spring and the water level was high. I flew over the other day and the water level was very low. If you are going in the late summer check the water level before heading out.
The lake is small, so reaches are not too long. Definately large enough to have fun.
Nice launch and rigging area. It appears that the wind is best when West or NW. The day I was there was very gusty and that seems to be the norm with Mountain winds. Choteau forecast from Intellicast (http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Weather.aspx?location=USMT0063)
Water quality in the Spring was very nice. Clear and cool.
The town of Choteau has stores and lodging. No windsurfing equipment. Make sure you have everything with you.
