Excellent grass rigging area, flush toilets and a $3 fee. A bit less wind than the Hatch. Often crowded and since the flood of November '06 the massive sandbar upstream has decreased the area available for launching. This is the easiest intermediate launch and so the crowd includes everybody from beginner to expert. Jibing is not permitted in the launch area which helps. NO kites are allowed.
