Winds
South or South-East winds ar the best. Everitt is a wave sailing spot when it blows over 20 knots from the South. The waves will be coming stright in off Lake Ontario in this direction. You can also sail here in West and East winds, but the waves will not be very big.

Launch
Slippery Limestone rock shelves with Zebra mussels so wear your boots. On the good days there is a strong current washing down the Point making it hard to stand while launching.
