Sailing
Rollingview area has two beaches to launch from. The east facing beach at the North end is a nice sandy beach, open to N through SE wind. You can launch on the west side of the point too for the SW through N winds, but there are better places to sail for these conditions (Sandling Beach).
The west facing beach is a swimming beach, with a separated swimming area, but you can launch next to the swimming area. The bottom is sandy, with an occasional rock. The wind directions here would be W to NW.
Both launches have grass for rigging, and ample parking. There is an entrance fee, currently $5 Memorial Day to Labor Day, plus weekends from April to Oct.
Directions
If you can find your way to Route 70 or Route 98, you will be all set. From Route 70, turn right (North) where Miami Blvd and Route 70 meet. This is Sherron Road. Follow it to Route 98. Turn Right onto Route 98 at the traffic light. After 4/10th of a mile, turn left at Neal Middle School. There are signs for Rollingview at this point. Basically, follow the road to the end following the signs for Rollingview. You'll have to drive approximately 4 miles after turning off Route 98.
