Windsurfing near Fern Ridge Reservoir

There is the best launch from Orchard Point (North East shore), from the southern most parking lot...best wind on N to NW days, but also good and good swell on S and SW days.
Better sailing on S and SW days is from secret sailing spot on the east side of the lake, small unnamed park...you will stumble on it if you try to find it. Its about 1 mile south on the shore from Orchard Point park and yes you can drive to it.
Other spots that are good on a south is the boat launch that is just West of the Dam spillway (not damned spillway).
Peninsula point has lots of weeeds and Richardson is pretty windblocked so don't bother too much with them.
