Windsurfing near Fern Ridge Secret Spot

This is just an access road for when the lake is dry in the winter. You get to it by following the road on the map, just past the Applegate trail park, where the road makes a 90* elbow turn to the left. There is a yellow gate and enough of a shoulder for a few parked cars. Its about 30 feet to the water, but better wind than Orchard Point (no wind shadow) on a Northerly, and would work on a southerly as well. Beware of sailing over where the road goes into the water as it is built up about 2 or 3 feet off the lake bed and likes to eat fins.
