Furusjön (Furulake)
This lake is pretty small. When the wind is blewing from the west this place is pretty good though. There are some locals sailing here now and then. The lake is a brown water lake and it´s known for its warm water. There are no obsticals to look out for if it´s not marked. The wind is often quite gusty. The usual surfspot is from the parking place (cabin with a little bridge) to the outlet next to the road. Then you go back and forth. There are no big waves. It´s not that deep so you can beachstart pretty easy. It´s a good place for beginners but can be fun for better surfers a windy day. There are parking places next to the beach for free, and there are also big lawns for putting your gear together 20m from the see.
Rating: (Bad, Not so good, OK, Good, Very good)
Not so good race conditions, Not so good freeride conditions. Bad wawe conditions.
Fore beeing a small lake it´s allright, even though Landsjön is a better spot in the neighbourhood for westly winds. But, drop in if your passing through a windy day and try to show off for the locals.
