Windsurfing near Guelph Lake

Guelph Lake is a man made resevoir with a dam at the west end of the lake. The water warms up quickly in the spring relative to the Great Lakes and as a result is a popular venue. There are no power boats allowed and it is a relatively safe place to learn.

There are two launching points; the main beach and from the island. Launch from the main beach on West and East winds. For Northwest, North, or Southwest winds the island launch is favored.
