Windsurfing near Gustavus
The spot in Gustavus is on both sides of the Dock a westerly is the best direction only down side is a wind shadow on the leeward side of the dock. A south west wind is also not bad but be sure to start on the inlet to the salmon river. A strong easterly will work but it tends to be very gusty due to the mountains it pinches through. A south wind is blocked by pleasant island.
