Windsurfing near Haines River Flats

This is a winter spot: from November through April. Mainly a braided channel that gets a nice thick layer of ice. Access is through the Valley of the Eagles golf course. There can be channels in the fall and spring before it gets really hard. Skiiers have a slightly longer season here than boarders.
Just a little further north on the other end of the airport runway, there is another put-in spot right by the road. Nice, but there is a deep channel that needs to be taken into account during fall and spring.
