This is typical inland lake sailing. Light winds usually, but when a storm's coming and especially in the fall winds can be 15-20mph and make for some fun sailing. Wind usually comes from the north or south on this lake. Best sailing is in a South wind. This is a nice sandy beach with lots of space. Will have to beat upwind but is well worth it when you get into the open lake and the wind drops. Much easier to float downwind back to the beach than beat back up to the boat launch on the South end of the lake, although the wind is often stronger up there.
