Kite surfing around the "Blijburg" beach. This is not a safe kite surf spot and officially you are not allowed to surf there. Still, many people go there. It is conviently located in Amsterdam, and there is a great atmosphere in and around the Blijburg beach house. There is much traffic from speed boats, and there are sometimes swimmers. The beach is a construction area with concrete and other junk lying around. Under water you will also find debree. Certainly not a spot to recommend to newbies, but nice for the advanced kiter if she lives in Amsterdam and wants to go out for a quick flight.
