Wind
works really well in NE - N. In a summer N-NE'ly this can be the only windy stretch of coast in the whole country - I know I've had a cracking, sunny 4.7m day there when the rest of the country is in the high pressure blues. It presumably works in s'lys too but I've never sailed it in that direction.
Waves
It picks up N swells so can be fun for jumping and even riding.
Tide
There's a strong tide there so always try and sail wind against tide when you will be able to continually broad reach.
