Kite Point is a great spot to windsurf or kitesurf from. It is a great kiting spot because there is a very shallow sandbar (6 inches deep) that extends west right on the point. Get there by driving directly south from the Canadian Hole about 300 meters and you will know you are there because its a big sandy area. It is a great access point to the and south end of the reef and the Buxton Slick. And for you freeriders with massive fins you need to stay about ten yards away from shore. There are some shallow spots that can lead to some pretty painful falls. Excellent sailing in S, SW, W, NW, N, and NE. Great spot all around, and you will never be alone here even in the middle of the winter. There will surely be another sailor to enjoy the wind every day.
