La Ventana is a coastal resort town located South of La Paz on the Eastern side of the Baja California penninsula in the State of Baja California Sur.
Mountains funnel wind off the Sea of Cortez into La Ventana Bay, combined with the frequent "El Norte" wind provide consistent strong winds from November to April.
The location is popular for both kitesurfing and windsurfing.
