Park in the lot next to Solomons Boat Rental, across from the Catholic church. You'll see a small beach, and a grassy rigging area where the Hobie Cats are kept. Depending on the tide, it's 3-5 ft deep about 60ft out along the length of the island. Winds are onshore on SSW. Good location for anything but Solid East. Tends to be N NW and blowing in the Fall and Winter.
