A good site for southwest wind days. There are resident only parking restrictions in the summer but out of season there is ample parking right on the beach. This site is great for both kiting and windsurfing but it is tidal restricted due to very shallow water. There are a few rocks to watch out for to the left of the launch out in the water and a small jetty to the right. the biggest obstacles are the shallow sandbars. There can be lots of weed in the water and on the beach, so weed fins are the call during most of the summer months. Jumping is mostly starboard tack but port can be had as well. For the adventurous sail out near the cape cod canal when the tide flowing into buzzards bay and the wind is southwest, and play in the standing waves.
