Very popular with windsurfers as well as kitesurfers. Wind is gusty on a SE as St Michael's Mount creates turbulance in the wind on it's way in. Best in South or South-Westerly. At lower tides, the beach is sand/small pebbles - however at mid tides you'll be walking on reasonable sie pebbels - painful on bare feet and definately not good when you're being dragged by a kite - so you may want to wear boots here.
Beach is next to a Road and Rail Track - so be careful.
