Windsurfing near Marie Curtis - Etobicoke

Best winds are onshore E/SE/S, however, the big open bay gets really choppy!
Winds SW/W and anything N are offshore, beware! Carry your passport :-) N/W is often nice and steady when it blows, but coming back to launch may be a challenge.
Spring and early summer sailing is excruciating due to low water temperatures of Lake Ontario. Summertime water can get high e-cola count, check City of Toronto web for latest reading [1] (http://www.torontobeach.ca/beaches/beach.jsp?id=1)
Large free parking lot, grass rigging area. On windy days half-a-dozen local sailors from Etobicoke / Mississauga area and the occasional kiter. Beach is mostly sand, with vegetation/trees on perimeter that makes kite launching a bit difficult.
