Works from NW thru SE .. anything else has a huge wind shadow. Its possible to get out on a WNW but some schlogging required.
Launch is rocky, but booties not required.. mostly just pebbles and big boulders. Some walking required to clear the fin.. not more than 20 or 30 feet though.. even late in the season. Parking is limited, but be aware that the grass area on the right side IS PUBLIC PROPERTY, so feel free to rig your sail there. The owners of the house on that corner have landscaped it to make you believe otherwise, by placing some big rocks there that give you the impression its private property.. BUT IT ISN'T. This is a very well known fact in the community, and needless to say these a**holes are not popular in the block.
