Excellent windsurfing location, either from the club itself or from the nearby car park. Prevailing wind is onshore, sails well in westerly and southerly. East can work, especially on hot summer days when thermals can help. Good launching, but a few rocks about. Best winds in Spring and Autumn but sailed regularly by quite a few people all the year round. Membership of the club helps with warm showers and good Guinness.
