Windsurfing near Peggies

Peggies works in SE winds. The water surface is protected from chop by the jutting shelf/headland.

As the southerly hits and the swell is still small it is quite comfortable. As the swell rises there can be issues getting through the "shorë" break. Takeoff is north of the rocks in the water and you have to point high to connect with the breaking wave off the point.

There are some nice waves to be surfed on the inside of the point. Tide is important as at high tide the platform gets overwashed and the waves get across from the other side of the point.

If you don't want the breaking waves the swell in the middle of the bay is fun to play with on the run in.

There are better spots south of here in SE conditions that keep the crowd from getting too hectic.
