The best location to launch on the Ririe Reservoir is the Blacktail boat dock. Follow Lincoln road from Idaho Falls to the boat dock. This can be a fun spot if you have a floatie board that you can uphaul (because of wind shadows in the canyon). This used to be a better place to sail before the invasion of Jet Skis and their testerosterone fueled adolescent pilots.
