This spot is one of the best kept secrets in all of North America. Located in the Prince Edward Island National park this spot takes advantage of frequent summer southerly thermals. Clean ocean salt water fills a protected lagoon. Excellent for learning as the water depth increases gradually with a sandy/mud bottom. Be aware that this sport is affected by local tides. You can also practising your freestyle moves. You might want to wear booties as some marine life abounds. A weed fin or short wave fin might be a good idea as there is some seaweed.
You can park on the side of the road and there is plenty of grassy rigging. This spot is kite friendly.
