Rufus is the Oregon side counterpart to the Wall. Slightly upstream towards the dam, it also works best in SW winds. The launch is a large river rock/gravel deposit, lots of parking and very open to wind and sun. Rigging is on gravel.
The current is usually quite strong, and a steady wind produces large swell. The launch drops off fairly quickly.
