Windsurfing near Santa Clara Point

This is where I learned to windsurf, there is a nice program at Mission Bay Aquatic Center on the cove. Water is clean, lot's of grass to rig, scenery is pleasing and there are many places to stop for lunch/coffee/drinks in walking distance.
Not as serious as the Hilton, but some better winds are found on the NE part of the bay. Powerboats are prohibited until 5, so wakes are rare. Winds are best from the SW.
A great place for beginners and intermediates to work on core skills.
