This spot has a grassy rigging area, lots of parking, washrooms and picnic tables. Also, a short distance to carry your equipment, unlike Britannia Beach. It has a slab rock type shore with rocky bottom so be careful coming too close to shore with long fins. Not very crowded or popular in the summer time oweing to the wind shadow for prevailing westerlies. However, if you get further away from shore, it becomes less of a problem. Best winds W, NW and N. Worst are from S (gusty).
