The Straights also known as Rocky Beach or 'Les Roches' is one of the best SE to SW windsurfing launches on Champlain. Park on the roadside and rig across the street in the field. Launch into side shore conditions that can include swells in mid bay at the 6-8' level when the lake is going off.This site is maintained by the Adirondack Board Sailing Club and the Montreal Windsurfing Club.
