Tahilla combines the best of safe inshore windsurfing as well as the option of easily leaving the large safe enclosure of the cove to cross the entire two mile width of Kenmare bay at this point. The seas outside of the cove can offer exciting jumping going out to the Cork side (southward) and blistering fast returns to the Kerry side. If you want to reach flat out for two miles at a stretch then this is the spot for you.
