Launch at public boat ramp at the foot of bridge to Harker's Island. Shallow, sandy bottom. Usually waist-stomach deep but varies with the tide. Good relatively flat water site with marshes fringing. A weed fin is advisable and a few shallow oyster reefs should not be mistaken for seagrass.
