Anyway. Fee Parking site. Great place to sail on Westerlies from May to October. Big swell. Reliable winds 20 days a month. Gosh. What are you waiting for?
Cold water until mid June-mid September, crowds, barges, relentless current if you break something, rocky launches, Posion Oak, scarce parking... but it's worth it all.
Please don't launch kites here when it's blowing 20 kts or more, sketchy launch and not enough room, kiters launch at the sandbar and ride up to the white salmon bridge/top of wells island you'll have loads of room and won't piss people off!!
