The Vättern beach are placed in the center of the city of Jönköping. The shore is quite big and has a sandy bottom. It doesn´t get to deep to fast. You can easely beach start. This spot is good when the wind is coming from the north, then the wawes can get pretty big. The water is clear and the temperature changes quite fast. The water can be quite cold when water from the depthes are coming up to the surface. There are some good gras spots to put your gear together on next to the water.
