West Kirkby Marina
Man Made lake that is refreshed and refilled by the sea daily. Good facilities onsite, shower toilets changing open 10 months of the year everyday.
Good conditions in nearly all wind directions. At high tides, anything over 8.4 metres you can actually sail (or small junp at lower tides) over the sea wall and head out on the open water.
Main beach uncovers miles and miles of sandy beach.
Kitesurfing is allowed in certain areas of the beach and deetails are on notice boards.
Parking if very expensive on the marina though. I always park in public car parka nd carry my gear over.
Kite buggying or traction vehicles not allowed but see nearby Hoylake as it is a much better locatio for land based kiteing anyway.
