excellent in south breezes. open grass/dirt parking area with plenty of rigging space, then carry your gear just across the road to the rocky beach launch. you won't be alone here in a good southerly, and for good reason. launch right into side-onshore breeze and step straight into the footstraps. only hazard is a small cement breakwall about 100 yards or so down the beach to the west of the launch. it can submerge to about fin-depth when the lake level is high, but it's quite close to shore, so unless you get blown way downwind you shouldn't end up anywhere near it.
