Windsurfing at Worthing yacht club is ideal at mid to low tide for begginers and intermediates. At high tide the shorebreak can be heavy. A sandbar stretches out 150 metres from the beach meaning you can sail in shallow water, ideal for practicing beachstarts on both tacks. Most more advanced sailors head a mile further west to Ferring by the Sealane Café well worth a cuppa after a good session on the water.There is a newish Watersports shop just up the road in Goring.
